Soccer Field Diagram: 5 Things You Must Know

Soccer Field Diagram

Tell me the last time you explained to your team various soccer formations by using a soccer field diagram? If you said “never” or “long time back”, it’s clear that your team is not completely aware of what formations and positions are.

Almost all coaches falter when they consider that spoken instructions are sufficient and the kids will learn everything through these. The players must take part in the dialogue about formations on the field as they are an important matter.

These illustrate the soccer positions of the players in each part from the defensive line and as such are the planned choices made usually in the form of numbers. The formations should never be inflexible and so the coach must continue to exchange players in every game. Something very important which should be kept in mind is that formations must be decided after taking into consideration each player’s strong and weak points.

Given below are certain formations that are frequently used in soccer:

Soccer Formations

4-4-2: This one is used most frequently. The series 4-4-2 is derived from the idea that it comprises of 4 defending players, 4 mid fielders, and two attacking players excluding a goalkeeper.

In this formation, midfielders play the most important role in form of supporting the forwarders through defense. At the time of attack, they should move towards the goal line to support the defenders.

4-5-1: Having five mid-fielders and one forward, this is better known as a defensive formation. The biggest benefit with this kind of formation is that because the midfielders are all focused in the center, the opposition cannot attack easily.

Also, because there is only 1 forward, it requires the midfielders to push forward which in turn makes the opposition craving to get the possession of the ball.

3-5-2: This formation has three defenders, five midfielders, and two forwards. This formation has the attacking as well as defending advantage since 2 wingmen get to attack and the center midfielder disallows counter attacking.

3-4-3: This is the most violent form of formation on the soccer field diagram that the players resort to when the opponents are defending. Using three defenders, four midfielders and three forwards, the plan is to attack using the forwards and make use of the defenders in case the opposition pierces the defensive line.

There is no single plan that stays good for the whole match. It must be in line with the changing situations in the game. So a coach must think quickly and keep rotating the players throughout. And then, a formation can be either offensive or defensive.

Efficient soccer tactics regarding formations are crucial as a team’s win or lose depends on it. As the game progresses towards action, the formation should change accordingly.

Now use the soccer field diagram to teach the players in the field. Our youth soccer coaching community is full of information on formations in the form of articles, newsletters, and videos.

Find Out Why Your Whey Protein Supplement Is Likely TOXIC For You

Best Protein Supplement IS NOT Whey

Let’s get 1 matter clear:

The best protein supplement is absolutely NOT a whey protein supplement.

In truth, for roughly 88% of white individuals, a whey protein supplement is POISON.

This means that if you are using a whey protein supplement there is an 88% probability that you are poisoning yourself.

This article is my unique contribution to the protein supplement debate. I have not viewed it addressed anywhere else, and I now know that this issue is critical. This is not hype, I have written this so that you give this article the proper attention it deserves.
The role of this article is to sort out the link between the best protein supplement and your individual blood type
Article highlights:
·    how the best protein supplement for you depends on your blood group
·    what does your blood type say about your protein supplement
·    the blood type lectin connection
·    how lectins play a role in your selection of the best protein supplement
·    where did I come up with this
·    bringing the pieces together

Presenting lectins

Lectins are a class of proteins that have the misfortune of chemically reacting with certain blood types while being completely neutral to others. Lectins are found in different foods and as such these foods will react poorly with certain blood types
Eating lectins that are innapropriate to your blood type creates digestive, metabolic and immune distress. Lectins can induce your blood cells, as well as other cells, to aggutinate (stick together in clumps). They can also trigger autoimmune disease and inflammation.
So where does the best protein supplement come in?
Simply this: a protein supplement incorporates the lectins from the food from which it was prepared

If you eat a soy protein supplement, you will be ingesting soy lectins. If you eat a casein protein supplement you will be ingesting casein lectins. If you eat a whey protein supplement, you will be ingesting whey lectins. The same story works for a protein supplement from eggs, rice, hemp or any other

Hence, if you eat a protein supplement which was created from food that responds badly with your blood type you will acquire effects like: immune system reaction (ie food allergy), incomplete protein breakdown (and gut toxicity as a result of this), inflammatory and autoimmune disease, damage to intestinal lining, and many more
How did I come up with that 88% number?
Caucasian population by blood type:
Type O – 47 %
A Blood Type – 41 %
B Blood Type – 9 %
Type AB – 3% ( origin, directly from my high school anatomy class book)

Type A and Type O are discouraged to consume either whey or especially casein as it contains lectins that react badly with their blood type — information source, a highly acclaimed nutrition  science book which I will be disclosing later for suspension purposes.

Note: the preceding information is not up for questioning, it is established scientific fact, do your own inquiry and find out.

47 (from blood type O) + 41 (from Blood Type A) = 88% of the white population – is discouraged to consume both whey or casein – these two are the most commonly cited as: “best protein supplement” protein supplements on the planet.

So, let me ask you this!
If the best protein supplement is the protein that works best for the most people, and the most representative protein supplement, whey, is not good for about 88% of the caucasian population — How can a whey protein supplement be the best protein supplement?

I will impart some clarifications so you don’t overreact (type A’s are especially prone to this practive)
– for type O, casein is unhealthier when compared to whey;  if you are a [healthy] type O, you can eat whey from time to time and be clear of symptoms; you should not eat casein at all even if you are healthy;
– for type the aforesaid rules likewise apply — with one exception, for blood type A there is a 20% probability that the lectins in whey will be neutral, but you have to test for this

{!! please don’t make the supposition that just because you are a healthy type O (or A) you should consume whey, it is still unsuitable for you. Consuming a bag of chips won’t make you sick, but it nevertheless has destructive effects on your body. Why should you diminish your results when there are choices that are actually advantageous} for you? For [example for the type O, beef has a positive effect on health. Just cast out that whey and eat beef if your blood type is O. Type A should not adopt this strategy.~ Avoid the mistake of thinking that since you are a healthy type O you should continue using your whey protein supplement~Do not make the mistake of thinking that just because you are a healthy type O you should ignore this advice~Refrain from thinking that just because you are a healthy type O (or A) you can ignore this advice and just continue using your whey protein supplement~If you care about yourself (and I assume you do) avoid the thinking: “well I am a healthy type O and I’ve been ok with this protein supplement so I guess I am just gonna keep using it”. This is not a good ideea simply because you will be experiencing less than optimal results and doing yourself some gratuitous harm on this path. Think of it like this — a serving of french fries won’t kill you, but it will still be bad for you and cause systemic upset. So unless you really like the taste of whey (inside joke here) there is no reason to keep using it if you are a type O or A}

What you should realize here is that this is more significant than it is commonly understood. You look at people on forums posting and babbling about the best protein supplement without recognizing that:

1 the best protein supplement is based on something called the best protein

2 the best protein doesn’t exist because all people don’t respond well to all protein – let me to say this again: no protein is beneficial for everybody, so there is no such thing as the best protien, or the best protein supplement.

I have preached about this before but it must be understood:
The best protein supplement is the protein supplement that is best for YOU.
And what is healthy for you is bad for someone else, so the whole concept of the best protein supplement is absolute marketing hype.

PS: If you’re reckoning to yourself: how can this be true, how come nobody speaks about this? Then just remember that the FACT that preservatives, artificial flavoreres, taste enhancers and other neurotoxic agents are used in your food is quite common knowledge. Check out my site on for world class information: the best protein supplement guide. Also check out this article that teaches what is the best time to use a protein supplement and how to use a protein supplement for maximum results

Soccer drills

Try to understand my view point even if you don’t have the same opinion. It’s important in soccer drills that players are able to have a sense of the game and as such teach them the very basics of soccer. This soccer training should always come first in the training schedule before moving on to the more problematical aspects of training or the right approach to play the game.

You as a coach must make it a point that players take their first step in the right direction. For this reason, coach your players on every important soccer skill forming the basis of the game. Given below are a few soccer basics which are essential for all prospective players to learn.

Training the players on dribbling and shooting skills: These are the two very basic skills that players must learn in the game. To become a successful player, these skills have a major role to play in their game. Nonetheless, training these soccer exercises must be arranged for in advance.

Start with positioning several players over the soccer field and arrange all players in a straight line on either ends of field.

Next tell the players to start. The players must then run around and attempt to catch the ball using their foot while dribbling and shooting it inside the goal on opposite side of the field. The players will improve on these two soccer drills soon after they continue practicing it on a regular basis.

Soccer drills

Passing the ball and following directions: Players learn the importance of team spirit as a result of these two soccer skills. Soccer after all, is a team sport that should be shared equally between all teammates. It’ll be extremely difficult for the players to play as one team when they can’t follow simple instructions or can’t learn the skill of passing the ball amongst them.

In order to teach them first rate passing skills and help them follow directions, there is an easy exercise. At the start, the entire team should form a single line at either end of the field. At a distance of about 5-10 feet, any one player in the team should stand in front of that line.

As soon as you tell them to start, the first player in the line will endeavor to grab the ball from remaining team mates on field. As soon as they are told to stop, the player who has the ball would pass it to the player who is first in the line. This soccer practice will teach the players to listen as well as follow your instructions.

Handling the Ball: As a coach, you must train the players on the skill of dealing with the ball with the help of other body parts, excluding their feet. This will result in players being more natural in their performance on the field. The players can improve on this by practicing the use of heads and knees to throw the ball and stopping the using the back.

These soccer drills offers the simplest way to develop great soccer players who can thereafter go on to learning actual game skills and more complex elements.
